Invited to curate a program focused on Italian Experimental, we selected a series of film works in which cinema is designed as a medium not bound by the conventions of narration and figure. From the first masterpiece of the Italian post-war avant-garde, a found footage film which primarily consists of cinemascope scenes from various Hollywood classics fabulously compressed, to a sensorial exploration of the latent image, the expansion of the body-camera and the big eye of mass communication.
